I was excited to attend the GPL Cavy Show. It would be my first time to meet other guinea pig enthusiasts and see other cavies in the flesh. I've been following the forum at PPF (Philippine Pet Finder) and was hoping to win one of the guinea pigs in the raffle.
On the day of the event, I kept repeating to myself "Mananalo ako (I will win)" over and over again. Guess what? I DID! and to my delight, I got the cavy that I wanted. Well, I might've been happier with the grand price - an alpaca... but I'm happy I didn't come home empty handed. I named him "Raffle". :)
